Help with Using "Object" element

November 12, 2009 - 2:36pm by Neil MacKenzie

Planet SVG Members:

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this question. If not , please suggest an alternative and accept my apologies

This all client side.

I have an html page with some SVG embedded in it. This is not inline SVG(I need Copy/paste) , it is included using the Object element. I am using IE with the Adobe SVG viewer. The page is actually being instantiated inside our desktop application using the IE control.

The problem:

The SVG comes up great when the page is first displayed but when the user changes some of the html elements, which modifies the SVG file , the display does not update.

I have tried modifying the "Data" attribute in the "Object" element , but this does not seem to work.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your time.

Neil MacKenzie
