Inkscape is a free, open-source vector graphics editor that uses SVG as its native format. It has capabilities similar to Illustrator, Freehand, CorelDraw, or Xara X. Based on an earlier open-source application called Sodipodi, Inkscape has become one of the most popular vector-art tools.
